Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: October 19, 2026

What you can't use the service, the ads or the dashboard for. Xtimates is a brand of Dycern LLC.

1. Who this applies to

This policy is part of the Terms of Service (xtimates.com/legal/terms) between Dycern LLC, doing business as Xtimates, and your company. It applies to you, to everyone you invite into your dashboard, and to anyone who sends data to the platform under the Developer Terms (xtimates.com/legal/developer-terms). It sets the rules for the ads we run for you, the dashboard, the data you send us, and how you treat the people who contact you.

2. Honest ads and honest pages

  • What you give us has to be true. Prices, offers, warranties, financing, licenses, insurance, reviews, and before-and-after photos must be real, current, and yours to use.
  • No bait. Don't ask us to advertise an offer you won't honor, to hide a condition, or to pretend to be another business.
  • Licensed work. You hold the licenses and insurance your trade requires where you work, and you tell us if that changes.
  • Reviews. We only show reviews real customers wrote. We won't write or buy reviews for you, and you agree not to ask.

3. Facebook, Instagram and Google rules

Your ads run in your own Meta and Google accounts and must follow their advertising policies. We can refuse, change or pause an ad we think would break those policies or put your accounts at risk, and we'll tell you why. If Meta or Google restricts your account because of something you gave us that broke their rules, fixing it is on you, with our help.

4. Contacting the people who ask you for a price

  • Calls and texts. Follow the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the national Do Not Call rules, and your state's rules. Only contact people about the work they asked about. Don't use autodialers or prerecorded messages without the consent the law requires.
  • Email. Follow CAN-SPAM: say who you are, give a way to stop, and honor it.
  • Stop means stop. When someone asks you to stop contacting them, stop, and mark it in the dashboard so nobody on your team or ours follows up either.
  • Their information. Use your customers' information only for your business. Don't sell it, trade it or give it to another company, except a provider you use to run your business.

5. The dashboard

  • Don't share a login. Each person on your team gets their own, with the role they need.
  • Don't try to reach another client's data, probe or test our security without our written permission, or bypass row-level security, rate limits or roles.
  • Don't mark estimates, outcomes or jobs falsely to change your bill or the guarantee. Flag a request within 7 days only if you believe it isn't a real estimate.
  • Don't scrape, copy, resell or reverse-engineer the platform, or use it to build a competing product.
  • Don't upload anything illegal, anything that infringes someone else's rights, or any malware.

6. Data you send us

Through your website form, a webhook, a CRM connection or a CSV import, you send us information about people. For all of it:

  • You have the right to send it, and the people in it asked you for a price or did business with you. No purchased lists, no scraped contacts, no names from lead sites.
  • It isn't sensitive. We don't need and don't want Social Security numbers, health information, financial account numbers or government ids.
  • It's accurate as far as you know, and you'll fix or delete it when someone asks.
  • It only concerns your own company. Don't send another company's data through your account.

7. Ask Xtimates

Ask Xtimates only reads your own account's numbers. Don't try to make it reveal another client's data, our system prompts, or anything it isn't built to read. Don't use the follow-up drafts to send anything that breaks the contacting rules above. The AI Terms (xtimates.com/legal/ai-terms) have the rest.

8. What happens if the rules are broken

We'll tell you and ask you to fix it, and give you at least 14 days to do so. If it's serious, illegal, harmful to someone, or keeps happening, we can pause your ads or the dashboard right away, or end the service under the Terms of Service (xtimates.com/legal/terms). We'll always say what the problem was.

9. Reporting a problem

If you see one of our clients' ads or pages breaking these rules, or you've been contacted by a client in a way that breaks them, email support@xtimates.com. For a security problem, email security@xtimates.com.
